Maple & Cinnamon Poached Pears – De la Ferme a la Table – Episode 1
This Poached Pear Recipe..
is made with maple syrup, cinnamon, and honey – flavors that are perfect for fall and wintertime meals around the fire with close friends and family.
Pears are one of my favorite fall time fruits because they have a mild sweetness and come in so many beautiful shapes and colors. While traditional poaching involves wine/brandy and sugar, there are many varieties you can experiment with to create a flavorful dessert that complements your meal.
Plus – poached pears are a really unique option for wowing the crowd without having to spend hours in the kitchen with weird gadgets!
