Watermelon Frose
Summer calls for a refreshing, poolside beverage to delight the tastebuds. Frozen margarita mixes work in a pinch, but they’re often filled with chemicals and tonzzz of sugar. Not the VP vibe. Instead - whip up a delicious and easy frose with these 4 simple ingredients. Quick, simple, and delicious - the perfect recipe for a slow flow day by the pool.
Ingredients:
Bottle of organic sparkling rose
One watermelon
Lemon juice
Ice
Freeze the sparkling rose in an ice cube tray. Juice the watermelon (or blend and strain). Refrigerate the watermelon juice until ready to make a frose.
Add 4-6 cubes of rose, 1c watermelon juice, a splash of lemon juice, and a handful of ice to a blender and lightly blend until just combined. This will create an icee texture. I like to make a batch of frose and leave in the freezer to keep the delicious frozen texture from melting too quickly. Don’t leave it in the freezer for too long, though, or it’ll freeze solid!
P.S. wanna add a cute garnish and keep your drink frozen a bit longer - freeze watermelon juice into popsicle molds and garnish your frose when serving.
