Beau Talks: New Year Monthly Review and Valentine’s Day
I wanted to check in with everyone and see how the year is going so far! It’s almost the end of January, and, I don’t know about you, but I’ve experienced some serious mindset shifts this month. I have big goals for 2019 and that hasn’t changed, but I’ve also had to prepare for the year in ways I hadn’t imagined. The month of January is for adjusting to the New Year and allowing the universe to direct you in the ways to go.
Sometimes these directions can be difficult so I wanted to lighten the air and discuss something fun and exciting instead. Let’s do something totally selfish! That’s right- I said it. I want to be totally selfish for a few days and totally focus on myself. What’s the big deal with putting ourselves first for just a few days? Nothing! It’s totally necessary sometimes, especially when big things come up or there are stressors in our life.
I want to share this simple, effective reset button of self-care with you.
So, during the month of February, in preparation for Valentine’s Day, I’ve put together a self-care challenge to share my 5-day reset. No, it’s not necessary to be totally extreme and take time off work or take a vacation. This is totally the opposite.
We’re learning how to reset our minds and bodies during our regular life. The “average” girl can’t afford to gallivant off for a week whenever she wants, so this 5-day challenge is set up to flow nicely along with your regular routine. (But if you can go gallivanting, feel free to do so… that’s super fun!)
